| Only downer from yesterday on 10:12 - Dec 30 with 656 views | Ryorry | I, on the other hand, discovered yesterday evening/overnight that I appear to have developed a very late in life allergy to wheat/gluten, & that avoiding it might just help me avoid some horrendous symptoms of a long standing health issue! (Crohns/UC for those itk). More than one win yesterday ... | |

| Only downer from yesterday on 10:14 - Dec 30 with 632 views | Churchman | I have to say that while I’d give them a try, gingerbread Doritos sound like the snack from hell. Not a huge fan of the Doritos at the best of times. | | | |

The simultaneous salt/sweet thing seems to be a very appealing one to human tastebuds generally though, great on popcorn.

Hopefully more of an intolerance than an allergy. My family seem to have similar with the onion family and I feel its coming my way. It might be worth taking a few tests so you can nail down what the problem is. That might give you more freedom. All means you're cooking more yourself which I would enjoy more if I was more prepared.

Yes I was intrigued but wasn't expecting much. Truly vile. I do like chilli heatwave doritos so gave them the benefit. However just because you can do something, doesn't mean you should.

Yes, think you’re right, hope it’s temp anyway as bread’s a massive staple for me (maybe partly why the problem’s developed - the more food you rule out as triggers, the more you overload on the few remaining). Goes against the grain, but finally booked appt. with specialist who can do samples analysis of gut biomes etc. for advice on which pre & probiotics to use etc etc. Very complex area which sadly the NHS just doesn’t do (in this area anyway). Onions, garlic & leeks are quite a common trigger I think - on the list of FODMAP no-no’s anyway.

| Only downer from yesterday on 21:05 - Dec 30 with 330 views | GlasgowBlue | They are not right are they? I woke up pissed at about 3am Boxing day craving a savoury snack and took a mouthful of Gingerbread Doritos one of my kids had bought. Fooking evil. Gingerbread diet pepsi is ok but not doritos. | |
