1. Driving to Town early on New Years Day is an absolute treat. M5, M42, M6 and A14 all empty. Bliss.
2. Thought overall it was a good performance, first 30 minutes I thought that we might run up a cricket score.
3. Second half was incredibly 'Bitty'', Burns couldn't really get into the game I felt.
4. Walle Egeli didn't have his greatest game, I do wonder, once we can get more minutes out of Burns, if he'll be a revelation sharing the 10 with Nunez.

6. I was surprised to see the Morrisons at Sproughton was open.
1. Driving from Kent to Waldringfield was traffic free. I parked in Morrisons at Sproughton because although it’s about 30 mins walk, getting out A14/A12 is easy and the journey home good.
2. First half hour, we played well and they didn’t get a kick. Then we sort of stalled, then got going again for the second.
3. A bits and pieces second half, as you rightly say. We deserved the win though and actually getting the points following an excellent effort on Monday was vital
4. Egele was a mix really. He did plenty of good things but was a bit off it at times - typical of a young player.
5. Yes, Philogene is a fantastic player. Amazing to think right up to the start of this season there were plenty whining waste of money, cut our losses etc etc.
6. Nunez - what a good player he is too as is Matusiwa.
7. Pleased to see Akpom get a proper ‘strikers’ goal - good positioning and cross from Furlong too. He’s a good player.
8. Overall, one more game to the end of a hectic period. We’ve done well. Performances not always the best, but look where we were and look where we are.
9. I’d, fitness permitting, play the team that carved up Coventry at Portsmouth.

Your eyesight playing tricks.
I’m happy I saw the big screen correctly - but from the SAR upper the SBR scoreboard appeared to my old eyes misspelt (or perhaps it is just the font they use).
Probably just my eyes - just need someone to confirm I’m due for another eye test!!
