In the first half of the season it felt to me like that was missing to a degree. It does seem to be improving in that regard on the pitch to my eyes. Hopefully continued progress on that front will see us surge to promotion

Not quite the same vibe as Morsy's fierce determination and the "cheeky chappiness" of Burns/Chaplin. Slightly quieter and maybe more reserved (except Nunez). But bonding well, nonetheless.

Particularly when we are more diverse now compared with a few years ago in terms of nationalities and languages spoken. With good personality management behind the scenes it should keep improving.

I was just a little bit quietly concerned earlier in the season that there didn't seem to be many strong 'joyful' interactions between the team on the pitch. Celebrations were mainly 'grouped' but players were looking at the crowd rather than each other. I like it when the team really celebrates inwardly first (like the pile up when Sarmiento scored against Saints) before celebrating with the crowd. I know we were spoiled for a couple of years with the likes of Burns/Donacien, Chappers, Morsy, Broady etc. etc. etc., and we couldn't expect that level of togetherness straight away, but as I say I was a little concerned earlier on this season that we might not get close to that again. As you say, it's starting to show again, and that feeds to the crowd too, and that's very, very valuable to us. I think Nunez has been very valuable in that, and I think Burns will be too. Davis though, is the solid link right through all of it and has clearly been taking on a lot of mentoring work (particularly Nunez and Philogene) - future Captain material.
