We've missed hirst due to injury and our covering strikers have scored 1 between them in his absence.
In total between the two of them they have 4 goals this season
Plus weve missed the most clear cut chances in the league with our main strikers missinga. Combined 20 odd clear cut chances.
We may be 2nd higher number of goals. Conceded 2nd least.
But we are third. Chasing top two.
To have a better chance of catching them. Overtaking them and staying there, it would help alot if more goals were scored from our strikers.
If philogene/clarke got injured. Who are we relying on if Hirst doesnt sort out his clear cut chances missed.. |  |

None of our strikers are good enough for the Prem. Would be great to find a Toney, Mbeumo, Wilson type that can step up after learning the ropes for 6 months |  |

Pretty much agree. Although a more clinical striker would really help. We are very reliant on Philogene and Clarke for goals and it would just take the pressure off them. In some games our finishing is absolutely abysmal and it has cost us points in some games.
However, as per the policy of the club since Gamechanger took over we shouldn't and won't be making signings for the sake of it. If there's no one available and/or willing to come here than there's no point in panic buying. | |

There's no doubt that a striker who can score would be a help. No one doubts this and the fact that we've enquired about Wilson and Bamford shows that, surprisingly, McKenna sees it too.
But dont gloss over the poor start to the season. We've been playing catch up and have done rather well at it. More of the same will doubtless see us promoted. THAT is when we absolutely will need a goalscorer. If we can get one nnow it will make the task this season easier but I dont think it's essential. |  |

I almost included Wissa in that list but after Brentford tried to sign him for 2 windows and he kept rejecting them, he finally signed when they got promoted. So it might be that we'd have to be patient to land our main man | |
