Again, you’re not contextualising the ppg, we know how strong we are at home, as has been seen in the past 4/5 weeks, hence our ppg has spiked.
But if you used the basic metric across the board for ppg and apply to the remaining fixtures
1.23 x 10 =12.3 (away ppg)
2.27 x 8 =18.16 (home ppg)
Will see us return 30 points, 1.66 ppg finishing on 80, which I personally don’t think is enough, and I also think we have a really tough run in, hence I would edge towards us finishing more around the 75 mark. |

Is our away form poor? If it is, why do you think it will get worse? Why are Portsmouth, Derby, Wrexham and Watford trickier away games than Coventry, Hull, Swansea and QPR? |  |

You seem to be revising 70-75 to between 80 and 75 whilst assuming we will not improve from what you describe as our poor form. You are all over the place really.
Is our away form poor? If it is, why do you think it will get worse? Why are Portsmouth, Derby, Wrexham and Watford trickier away games than Coventry, Hull, Swansea and QPR? |
I think you’re rewriting my post there, I think I said between 70-75 points, think we’ll get around the 75 number, not a tough one to wrap your head around there.
I think they’re tricky away days, tough tests, scrappy, gritty and ugly tests, where we have fallen short, and I think Wrexham, Stoke, Watford, Derby and Pompey particularly will pose that sort of threat, Norwich and Southampton will be different sort of tests but also difficult away days.
You’ve picked the 4 wins on the road, but avoided the 9 others games where we’ve dropped points. Oxford, Blackburn, Preston, Leicester, Birmingham, Sheffield Utd.
There’s no right or wrong answer here, just opinions, and mine is that we’ve got some real tests ahead, and I don’t have the confidence or belief in this group that they can deliver on the tests yet. [Post edited 27 Jan 1:11]

do yourself a favour and write out the 18 games and work out where you think the 25 points to reach your 75 point upper limit come from.
then identify the 5 hardest points and adjust for your lower point limit.
then come back and tell me if you've been employing critical thinking or over-critical flouncing!
the fact that you're including birmingham and preston as tools to criticise the team when we didn't have furlong, nunez, azon, akpom and egeli, plus azor, cajuste and kipre were well off their current form and fitness is indicative. it's got very little relevance to the curent team |  |
