| Shorter transfer window 12:56 - Jan 28 with 520 views | allezlesbleus | Seeing as how the majority of deals seem to be done towards the tail end of the transfer window (understandably), would it not not makes sense to make the winter transfer window only 2 weeks long? | | | | |

| Shorter transfer window on 13:22 - Jan 28 with 394 views | SheffordBlue | I'd get rid of it completely but cap the number of players a team can bring in in a 12 month period. I'd also have an overall limit to the number of players a club can own to stop them buying up talent and then loaning it out before finally deciding to sell..... | |

| Shorter transfer window on 13:53 - Jan 28 with 273 views | OldFart71 | I don't know about shorter but there appears to be a conflict between windows opening and other things and events making a lot of the window worthless. I point to closed season where the date regarding one year of accounts/fair play rules starts and ends where for teams selling it would be advisable as that would count as "last year", but to buy it was unadvisable for clubs such as Town and better to wait a few weeks before buying. Also in this current window the Africa Nations Cup was taking place, so it may have ruled out several clubs buying during that time. To miss out on a vital cog by leaving things too late is very annoying and could also be costly. | | | |
