Feeling the pressure 06:21 - Feb 1 with 550 viewsmuccletonjoe

It has started to become s factor in my opinion. Yes it is all very well trying to keep that pressure on the top two, but we have Now got several teams around us in the top 6 who are keeping very close to us and despite a good run over christmas there is hardly any breathing space to 7th and out of the play offs.
Only 3 or 4 of these players went through our promotions a couple of years ago, the experience of having done it before isn't going to count for much.
As I have said before, I don't think a striker is going to be available to us this window and we need Nunez and philogene back for the next 3 months. And if that is the case, I think we will manage the pressure and get promotion. But I do think it will come down to fine margins.

If that's the case then it's a big concern, they can't cope when going a goal behind and I don't see any leadership anywhere including on the sidelines during the game. Hopefully Neil will bring some of that. Was amazed he got no minutes yesterday.

It seems without Nunez we struggle to create and although Clarke by his standards has had two poor games he has scored twice still.

There is no urgency in the side when in the ascendancy and I'm not just talking pace when on the attack. The amount of time it takes for a corner to come in when in the last few mins of the first half for example was ridiculous. The so called 'leadership' group should be urging everyone on at this stage.

How much do these players want it? Most of them are probably astute enough to realise we go up they will get replaced and they get sold. Many of them on incredible wages probably happy with life in Suffolk.

Poll: How many team changes tonight?

Ridiculous to suggest some of our squad do not want promotion, even if the club didn't retain them and there is nothing to suggest that would be the case. It is a big plus on their cv to be part of a promotion season.
Leadership , you may have a point with, sometimes, particularly when we are under pressure , I feel we are short of someone to show the example and take the game by the scruff.

Not saying they don't want it but do they want it as much as other teams?

There is very little passion shown the fist pumps often quite embarrassing that no one other than Nunez wants to do it.

Let’s hope not because we are going to have to win 11 or 12 of 17 and have some very tough games ahead.

Poll: Ok gut feeling then, promotion?

Leadership a small problem,
O'Shea isn't a bad player,
But his leadership should be questioned he's no morsy ,
At this level morsy was in the refs ear all the time you have to be,
Yesterday one players accosted the ref many times when only the captain can, huddled around him,
Few fiery tackles fouls against us I only saw O'Shea once having a word with the ref,
Not saying there wernt more times yesterday but he's not vocal enough as a captain,
