Thanks for posting. That makes it pretty clear and I find it difficult to contradict what KM says.
Whilst I’d love to have seen Haaland in the building, Bowen or even the bloke ripping it up for Sunderland that was never going to happen. Just adding Carlos Toenaili because he has ‘striker’ at the top of his highlights reel seems pointless to me. I’d rather keep additions to a minimum, given the turnover in the summer.
I know Hirst is loathed by many (I’d have put a transfer in 1 Jan if I were him) and the other two are seen as invisible, but I firmly believe the issue is less them and more the delivery-free midfield. Strikers need service. Ours hasn’t been good enough through the middle of the pitch, though Nunez was improving it before injury. Goals from midfield and defence? As Phil pointed out - not a lot.
I’m ok with the signing of Neil and Mehmeti. I also like the bringing in of a couple of lads for the development squad. Building for the future. |  | | |

I'm with you for a lot of that, the two we have signed and the youngsters, i don't get the bit about them not getting service when it's been showed they're up there as strikers having the most expected goals in the league. I don't know what else our creators can do for them..
I do agree more goals from midfield etc would help too though. |  |
