25/26 Wrexham FA Cup Away Match Sales 'Profile'

The Wrexham FA Cup fixture has gone to General Sale (Monday, PM), there are still a handful of ticket rattling around but presumably it will sell-out properly. The sales profile for the fixture therefore follows.

Summary:

The Club announced an allocation of 1293 tickets had been provided. The seatmap matched that.

- The Club retained a total of 130 seats for Club allocation, steward use.

- There were 24 wheelchair / assistant / ambulant seats.

- A total of 1139 tickets were made available for purchase for across Member Sales.

- All blocks went on sale from the first Window.

Per Window Sales:

- 393 (34.50% of allocated seats) sold in the 40+ window.

- 156 (13.70% of allocated seats) seats sold in the 35+ window.

- 93 (8.17% of allocated seats) seats sold in the 30+ window.

- 27 (2.37% of allocated seats) seats sold in the 25+ window.

- 70 (6.15% of allocated seats) seats sold in the 20+ window.

- 78 (6.85% of allocated seats) seats sold in the 15+ window.

- 165 (14.49% of allocated seats) seats sold in the 10+ window.

- 72 (6.32% of allocated seats) seats sold in the 5+ window.

- 52 (4.57% of allocated seats) seats sold in the Season Ticket window.

- 33 (2.90% of allocated seats) seats sold in the General Sale window.

Points of Note:

* Allocation for the League and Cup fixtures was identical, despite Town theoretically being entitled to a larger allocation for the Cup.

* The was no APP awarded for the fixture.

* There was no Ballot run for the Cup fixture, apparently due to time constraints.

* Club retained seats were lower for the Cup vs League fixtures, leading to a higher number of tickets being available for purchase.

* This fixture is easily the slowest selling of the season (despite the league fixture selling out at 40+) with low sales numbers across all windows. Friday night, televised, long way, no APP, there the week after again, 'only' the Cup, etc, all conspiring against this one being 'popular'.

Why no away point for this game… that really doesn’t make sense …. An opportunity for those not usually able to to get one…

Because too many people bought tickets for the point at Wimbledon last season with no intention of going.

Feels like that was less likely here because the tickets were the same price as the league game, rather than being a tenner or whatever Wimbledon were.
