Reading comments on here about our recruitment, it's probably worth noting that football statisticians estimate about 40% of Premier League transfers are statistically 'successful'. Not a very joyous stat but does put our efforts a bit more in context.

Can well believe it. I would also say you don't judge a transfer after 5-6 months.

A slightly different. Ase for contractors but still judge it at the end of the deal.

Young players you give a lot more time. Seeing Egeli getting questioned is beyond frustrating. Yes we all want him to be flying but him and Mcateer both need time on an individual level.

I appreciate as fans we judge often on a) emotion b) where the club sit in the league/success.
