The firm and Karp separately faced criticism for agreeing in March to pledge tens of millions of dollars in free legal work to causes supported by the White House in exchange for Trump rescinding an executive order targeting Paul Weiss.Karp has defended the deal with Trump, saying the president’s executive order threatened its survival. The order restricted Paul Weiss’s government access and federal contracting work, citing its connections to his political enemies and its racial-diversity efforts.
Eight other firms later reached similar pro bono deals with the administration to avoid similar orders, pledging work worth nearly $1bn combined. Four rival law firms that were hit with Trump executive orders sued the White House and won court rulings striking down the measures.

I wish I was there to see the look on Mavis’ face when he drops into his local Cancer Research shop with a suitcase full of notes. What a generous man he is lol
Is there much awareness of this, or more generally how crooked the whole family is, among the average American? Or more specifically among the MAGA crowd? Do they care? Is it 'sticking it to the Libs'? I just can't understand how ANYONE with a sliver of conscience and a couple of braincells to rub together can still think this man is in it for them.

Trump has committed more impeachable offences in the last year than all other Presidents added together have *ever* committed, probably including his own first term.
I doubt the office of President will ever recover from this. The next President just needs to be the second most corrupt of all time and they'll look like a saint.

Worst thing is there will be copycat leaders springing up everywhere using Trumps playbook as financially it’s been an absolute goldmine for him.
