Is it a form of cheating or does this article just leave you scratching your head. The bit about Aaron Anselmino for me sums up everything that is wrong with football. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/fo

Funnily enough, was just about to post the same thing having read it. The bit about Fifa basically not being ar5ed about it sums it up really. (Although not suprising)
I can only imagine that is why our owners were looking to invest in another club. If you can't beat them, join them.
It is quite clearly a way to continue hoarding players and dodge PSR rules.

Chelsea basically can have 2 teams and change the players around when they want. Also helps them with the financial rules.
12 transfers between them and Strasbourg is just so blantent. Yet Palace got dumped out of the Europa league for much less.....!
Would changes to ownership rules necessarily help though? There’s nothing to stop two completely independent clubs from agreeing to work together (obviously shared ownership makes it a lot easier).
The area I’d be concerned about is fixing player pricing with the aim of working around PSR; that’s obviously not on and the most egregious breach of rules. If players are signed for what’s considered a reasonable market value, I’m not too fussed about it tbh. Football’s grubby enough as it is, and this doesn’t seem any worse than what normally goes on.
