Sometimes it's best to keep the truth quiet even if things have gone on that the public do not need to be aware of

By coming out with his his comments this morning is insinuating that something has gone on which people do not need to be aware of

It would surely have been best all round if KM just stated Szmodics was unhappy as he wanted to play regular football in a world cup year and we could not guarantee that instead of insinuating that there were issues behind the scenes

He is still an Ipswich employee, so it does seem a bit strange to me for an employer (or rather someone acting on behalf of the employer) to be bad-mouthing an employee.

It certainly doesn't seem to me to accord with the sort of confidentiality expected of a employer/employee relationship.

Indeed, I am just glad that my previous employers never did this sort of thing.

And it seems to me to be a completely different case from Woolfy who was no longer employed by us.

Finally, I don't suppose they went down the gross misconduct route because that could have ended up with the club no longer having an asset.

But even that would have ended up with an NDA.

Don't get this take at all. (unsurprisingly)

He played him due to injuries (puts him in shop window too) and then got rid.

The loan gets him away for a bit whilst they pay (some of) his wages.

Keeping him around on the naughty step would be daft.

Why would it be daft

Shop window not needed derby wanted him. He wanted derby

Clearly there was an issue so why was he even involved in training with the group let alone playing when you can pick an u21

Now I wouldn't normally suggest picking an u21 just for the sake of it. But if somethings happened thats so big that hes not required and its best for the dressing room that hes gone. Why on earth was he still part of the dressing room when we were going up against a difficult sheff utd team..

When team cohesion is very important. Having him included just goes against the reason weve let him go and we took an unsettled dressing room to an away game..
