For me this season and the project McKenna has been leading stand at a pivotal moment.
If you compare our fortunes to the other relegated clubs we’re in a far superior place. Manager and off field stability. 11 points clear of Saints and Leicester just doomed.
But we sit 4th, 7 points below Boro with a game in hand. And with superior goal difference. Yes there are 17 games to go, and Coventry are wobbling. But 1.76 PPG sums up a season where we’ve not fully clicked.
Cov away and at home, showed the side we can be. And there have been highlights and great player performance - from Philogene, Matusiwa.
But the fans just aren’t on board at the moment, I think the manager senses it. And I’d suspect this brilliant leader may be beginning to cast his gaze behind Suffolk.
The fans feel entitled, haven’t backed, but you can understand in part, as that lack of urgency or games where we expected to kick on haven’t turned out that way.
Fans are sad disgruntled by the striker, and Szmodics noise hasn’t helped.
But we do have the players, Neil and Mehmeti improve us. We have the manager, we just need to raise the confidence, drive the belief.
A win today would be huge, huge huge huge. Everything would turn.
But we face a Derby side in strong form and belief, who know the dark arts, and will be getting advice from Sammie.

Yep, time fast running out and if we are not careful top two will be beyond us.
All we can do now is win our games and hope others don't, interesting you compare us to Leicester and Saints, we have spent considerably more than them yet again have failed to beat them this season.
We really need our strikers to start putting away their chances as we can't rely on whichever one of Clarke and Philogene plays.

agreed. I can see a situation where the season slips away from us if we're not careful. Be rubbish to play the last 10 games of the season knowing it was playoffs at best.

It’s a big month. Three back to back away games could do any of make or break our season, or not really change anything. We’re starting to get towards the business end now and these results start to become more significant. Some solid performances and better results than our away form average would really boost everyone. [Post edited 7 Feb 12:13]
