Football is a funny ole game
Eze for me is one of the best players in the premier league, gifted, but despite early promise he just doesn’t suit the Arsenal system. Subbed at half time, after a really ineffectual half. Lost in how Arsenal set up and also nullified by Andrews excellent set up.
But not the first time.
He’s like Szmodcis for us… a great player with real Championship credentials, but just didn’t suit how we/mckenna play

I think someone who understands this is Tuchel and why I think we might have a chance this summer as he won’t shoehorn players into the team based on reputation.
Anderson compliments Rice for example and he’s shown he’s willing to stick with that.

Very good players going to top 4 teams can be an issue. Grealish probably being the biggest example of this.
The other problem from a national perspective with having the best League in the world is the likes of Lewis-Skelly being on the bench there. | |
