We never looked like scoring or putting pressure on their defence.
Once again looked outnumbered in midfield. Back to the EPL days.
The decision making and protecting the ball was woeful.
The top 4 well make your own mind up.
Not going to go all in, but our lack of height, Hurst not able to retain the ball. (Spent more time looking at the defenders rather than the ball)

It’s not so much about being outnumbered as losing our duals, as Dyer said. In terms of duals and tackles won I think we’re down the bottom of the table. It’s been our Achilles heel all season. There’s not enough desire and aggression to make sure we get to the ball first or win it back or hold off challenges. Same old, same old.
Maybe if Matusiwa had been in it would have made a difference. |  |

Agree Swanners, trying not to be too frustrated but our ball protection is great in the defensive areas but up top...
I maintain the decision making and to your point winning duels is lacking. I dont want to be the person saying we need to be more direct but that feeds into decision making. Too often chose the wrong pass and too slow in transition.
