Not saying it will happen given our gutless display yesterday, but the crazy thing about this season is that we could win on Tuesday against Watford, Boro could drop points against Leicester and we're right back in it for top 2.
I know it's all ifs, buts and maybes and we need to get our own house in order, but it's a funny old game that swings with each result.

You are correct in there at least for the next month or two there will likely be swings every game. However, all season long for us it has been IF. We can't rely on IF, we need to get ourselves into a top two position. Crazy to think we could be looking at 7th but IF we don't win those games in hand then that becomes a reality.

is it a "crazy" season though, or is it just a standard championship season? as i dont see it as any different to any other.
maybe the big different is there isnt a burnley, leicester running away with it. but the rest is pretty much standard.

It’s been a season of IF we win, IF a certain team can drop points but the fact of the season is it’s been terribly disappointing. Far too many poor performances with quite a few dreadful performances, which ultimately are down to McKenna. What’s happened to the team, still seems so pondorous and slow/sideways and with so many changes almost every game we’ve looked like strangers.
To be honest if we continue as we are I don’t think we’ll make the top 6, let alone the autos. It’s going to have to be one hell of a turnaround in team performance to stay in the hunt and I don’t think this team has it.
Also add the fans yesterday as the players walked off obviously weren’t happy, this won’t help the team, but then after such a weak display what do they expect, to be clapped off? No. | | | |

Totally agree, more worryingly is after 31 games this 'team' has not gelled, why do people think different players next season in the prem would gel based on the evidence we've seen this season?
Philogene maybe could be a prem player but I don't see anyone else in our team who has genuine PL quality e.g. they will play their for the next 5 years+.
I am losing patience with McKenna tbh but he'll always be a legend given his double promotion season, would be great if he could take us up with a win at Wembley and leave that as his legacy. Unless something changes in the last third of the season I feel we need a change in the summer to freshen things up regardless of what league we are in. | |
