Millwall the club that just wont go away 16:49 - Feb 28 with 1825 viewstetchris

Credit to millwall as having a right go this season. Could spoil the party so it’s so important town win the two games in hand.

I like them.

On what basis. Every club has bad and obnoxious/meat head fans. But theirs are in such high numbers. I would genuinely not want my kids anywhere near that football club. I remember going on their forum in the past and being amazed by some of the completely open racism. Horrible, nasty club with a fully justified reputation. Went to uni with a Millwall fan and he was not someone to be on a night out with.

It would be incredible to have Mehmeti, Nunez, Clarke, Philogene AND Azeez.

Oh yeah, and Burns, Egeli, McAteer and Akpom!

Would be delighted if we could get Azeez at the end of the season, but of course much depends on where we end up, and where Millwall end up. Most likely it's another Hackney situation where we almost got our man but have now missed the sliding doors moment.

I feel there's going to have to be a lot of ruthlessness across these three positions at the end of the season. Can't quite figure out how it all works tbh. If we go up, I believe we have to sign Akpom. All of the rest of them are ours already. It may be that that little lot would be good enough for the Prem, but if that's not thought to be the case, one wonders how one gets rid of enough of them without taking huge losses that would be hard to square with FFP/PSR.

A nice problem to have, I guess. If we don't go up, you can't see Akpom being here next season.

Our strikers are scoring right now, so I'm going to enjoy that and not speculate on what might happen in that position over the summer.

It would be lovely to have someone on the right who is as effective as Burns was in his absolute prime, and Hutch was during his best period for us. Before he needed those cough drops. But right now things are looking good. Amazing that we can start without both star left wingers and still look so effective and so comfortable.

I think that is down to:
i) Mehmeti and Nunez being unexpectedly synergetic in the same lineup
ii) Swansea coming to play football, allowing us space
iii) Neil constituting an upgrade on Cajuste/Taylor
iv) Our strikers being clinical
v) I mean I've just got to mention Mehmeti again. Individual moments, creating goals. Technique, fitness and work ethic. The bargainest goldmine ever!

he's definitely a massive bargain, still cost about 40 times more than wes burns though, so maybe not bargainest!
