Not content with killing hundreds of Iranian children 13:10 - Mar 9 with 4715 viewsElderGrizzly

Israel have now killed just under 100 kids in Lebanon (so far).

And apparently Israel have started to make noises about Turkey being 'of concern'. Turkey being a member of NATO...

Edit/update: USA have now ordered Diplomats to leave Southern Turkey

Not an attack on what he’s saying - totally agree, but it does seem ironic coming from a key part of a government that bombed the hell out of the region:

The children killed in the US attack could be just the start of this is a prolonged conflict. As well as the children killed by Iran in the protests, there’s also the horrific recruitment of child combatants into their proxies Hezbollah and the Houthi’s.

I’m glad we’ve stayed out of this horror show.

You could say that, and I did think it myself, but it doesn't detract from what he says.

And your last paragraph is spot on. Maybe it's the lawyer in Starmer or Lord Harmer, or both, that has meant that we didn't follow the US blindly as we did in Iraq.

Having studied international law at university 45 years ago, I've always been a fan. And to me it is shocking that Israel and the US no longer even go through the motions.

Regarding the puppeteer trope I think it's ridiculous to suggest America are acting just because Israel are telling them to. That is not Trump. If he doesn't want to do something he won't do it. Maybe Israel took the lead on it, but the administration was and is fully behind the action.

It’s more a case of the pair of them being hand in glove rather than Israel in the shadows manipulating the US as per the trope (doesn’t matter who’s the hand or glove). It was reported at the time that the US were caught off guard by Israel and followed their lead, so it Israel were the initiating force and the US following. Lead/follow, follow/lead, it doesn’t matter to those having bombs dropped on their heads. And yes, I’m sure the US administration are more than willing.
