Gareth Southgate's Dimbleby lecture 08:01 - Mar 10 with 660 viewsWeWereZombies

Another hour on the iPlayer I have been neglecting because I think life is more important but last night I noticed I only had nine days left to catch it so watched and was, mainly, impressed. Wouldn't be too unhappy if when the inevitable happens and McKenna gets nicked off us for Southgate to be the replacement:

His book, Dear England: Lessons in Leadership, is well worth a read (or listen)

No thanks. Nothing against him personally but too cautious.

The only Muff in Town.

But surly for a lecture you’d want the talker to pace himself rather than going in at pace and not really being able to digest what he’s going on about?

Agree with you and J2. It’s a no from me too for the reasons you give. Didn’t do much at Middlesbrough either.
