If we had a 5 non fringe players you'd call it a weakened town team tho. Lets say walton. Davis Oshea. Azor. Hirst. As examples Mentioning those players as stoke have their no. 1 keeper out. Cb skipper out.Key CM out Striker out. Left back out. And then that fella suspended. Thats your core 6 of a starting 11 right there. Let alone the rest of the 'fringe' injuries like Gallagher.

Isn't it the truth though that 'reserves' is being used for dramatic effect.

Sure - we all do that at times though

.. but some are using it as a stick.

There were a lot of people who didn't accept that last season one of our biggest challenges was how many injuries we had in the squad, but no-one ever said we were playing our reserves.

The conversations on here are often difficult enough with using potentially inflammatory terms (and that's by both 'camps' btw).
