Look at how Boro dispatched QPR with ruthless efficiency from the first whistle. None of the tippy tappy aimless play in the 1st half plus stupid kamikaze defending like last night and boom! we make it so much more difficult for ourselves.
Penalty or not, you can't argue that if we were as clinical and ruthless like Boro were v QPR we'd still have won 1-4. Letting in stupid goals and then switching off in injury time aren't a hallmark of a team chasing automatic promotion.
