Drove past today and looks like they are getting ready for footie fans tomorrow , all the sun canopies are up and over the tables out the back and the blinds are up in the windows ( previously down ) …..a good few shillings to be made tomorrow especially after the game as it’s early KO . |  | | |

Last time that I went in The Station Hotel was when we last played MK Dons. Me and my pal had both had a bit of a thirst on the train journey down and then strangely both our bladders went rogue immediately after leaving the station. Then had a bizarre conversation with the bouncer at the Station Hotel who wouldn't let us in as we weren't away fans, the fact there weren't any away fans in there wasn't a good enough reason to let us in to have a slash, obviously we intended to have a pint there as we didn't want to take the piss by just having a piss. Eventually sanity prevailed and the landlady let us in and luckily we both managed to not wet ourselves, which now that I'm 50+ I consider a successful day. |  | | |

Tbh can’t remember the last time I went passed it after a game, maybe once or twice last season and it was never open.
Always found it harsh that they weren’t allowed to open afterwards but must’ve been relaxed and rightly so. | |

I remember drinking in there with Millwall fans on New Year’s Day before a game and there was no problem, back when the Drum had away fans. It was great when it was mixed home & away, never any trouble. |  | | |
