I think it sets a bad precedent that needs to be shut off before next season starts. No way should a referee, under pressure for a poor performance, be allowed to watch a video of a match looking for things he missed before he submits his match report. It clearly wasn’t a clear and obvious error and I doubt of VAR would have done anything other than to highlight that both players could have received yellow cards. |  |
