My concern about Boro 16:16 - Mar 28 with 884 viewsJoey_Joe_Joe_Junior

At Christmas they battered teams, forgot how to score, had a mad XG for and dropped loads of points. Then they went on a 6 game win streak. After Millwall they have Swansea (who love to take it to teams and play football), Wednesday and Pompey at home.

Think we really need a Millwall result up there.

Bookies have us as basically neck or neck but I can really see them figuring out over the next few weeks. I hope we have the answers.

Apologies if it’s too soon to talk to football!

Poll: Ok gut feeling then, promotion?

Potential good thing is morris only gets back i think on wednesday 2 days before millwall. And Hackney may not make millwall.

Did the US release him or is he playing this mid week? If he plays he won’t be back until even later.

I think hes still with them. I had a quick look but nothing I could see said anything about him returning early.

Anything but a Boro win please.

We would be 3 points behind the team in second with a superior goal difference and two games in hand. It would give us a safety net. Mentally, that would be a huge boost.

The thing is I would have said the exact same before their recent fixtures (Oxford, Bristol City & Charlton especially). This time of the season especially is so unpredictable.

Some teams in the middle of the league can go out with the shackles off meaning they might play well or conversely could play badly for the same reason.

I know what you mean but it wouldn’t be crazy to call the last 3 a bit of a statistical anomaly, the probability of that happening again with similar shots on goal and XG seems rather unlikely with what they have on deck. The same trend happened to them before their recent winning streak.
Hope of course I’m wrong but we are going to need try and at least match them result for result.

hull have done it all season in reverse, so could continue longer!

i said last week that boro v millwall feels like cov v boro, and i fear a boro win as they could use the confidence of a win to go on a streak. c'mon millwall (or a draw!)
