How do we feel about the Brum press conference? 10:10 - Mar 30 with 2089 viewsthebooks

I expect KM will refuse to answer any Ashton related questions, which is obviously fair enough.

More interested in the local media's approach. Do they ask the questions in the first place? Follow up?

The whole podcast, ex-player, website ecosytem's a bit cosy, isn't it? Like they've all bought into Ashton's plan/vision whatever, rather than reporting and being a bit more critical.

Mate, you have real issues with this don’t you, personally he has nothing to be forgiven for so any chance you actually get back to supporting the club .

No issues?

How about using his position to exploit the club for a political campaign.
Having no feeling for the club and its identity.
Lying about it.
Refusing to address any of the issues concerned supporters have raised.

That's before you get to the hubris and ego that has led to him to make one of the textbook PR mistakes of the century. They will be using this as an example of corporate mismanagement in courses for years.

You personally don't feel the need for Ashton to apologise. That's good for you.

Can you see why many thousands of other fans do feel he should apologise for politicising our club, lying about it, not making a proper apology other than for it upsetting people, and allying the club with a racist?

You seem very silent whenever challenged over your apathy towards the club's support of this racist.

I would imagine everything will be made clear pre press conference. KM is not the person to ask about anyone elses views on politics or anything else. He'll be there to talk about an upcoming football match. No doubt both he and all the players have their own private opinons of events, some may not look kindly on what's happened. There's a time and place. I expect one way or another this is all far from finished unfortunately.

I'd imagine the press will be briefed very clearly to keep questions to a football nature. To be fair to McKenna, this isn't his pile of turd to own.

It will be this.
