Voting Latinos and Catholics in the States are by no means monolithic groups… indeed they are quite diverse in their own umbrella groupings and would and do slightly favour the Republicans when it’s not actually 50/50 more or less,which it often is.
I get your point though,as for the cost of living for the blue collar MAGAS I don’t know if it’s any worse or better on the whole than it was before for them…as for us all it’s been pretty crap since just before Covid and hasn’t really gotten back to any kind of normality since. |  |

Indeed. Tho the conservative Latino vote in places like Florida definitely helped Trump get over the line in 2016 and 2024.
On the cost of living, one of Trump's major campaigning points was making things better (much talk of the price of eggs). One of his big claims since is that he has succeeded beyond all expectation. Many complaints from the MAGA stalwarts are that he really hasn't. Indeed - especially with the fallout from Iran - they are getting worse.
