When a colleague says 'I'm popping out to get a sandwich if anyone wants to come?'.
Just as you're considering popping out for a sandwich. So you then have to claim you're busy / not hungry and leave it a reasonable amount of time before you can go and get your sandwich, on your own, and not have to speak to anyone on your lunch break.

I found a nice quiet little spot at work for lunchtime, I'm sure everyone thinks I'm a bit weird sitting on my own here, not that I'm bothered one bit, but now a work colleague has decided to bring his chair and join me, don't get me wrong I do like the guy but this was my place to escape with my own thoughts and doom scroll for half an hour in peace...oh well.. |  | | |
