Really weird game innit. They’ve had lots of possession and pressure, but created nothing. We’ve shown very little of our quality but created some good chances and go in 2-0 up at HT.
We’ve been really disciplined and hardworking in our defensive structure and restricted them to scraps - excellent on that front away from home after an early goal. Just need to carry a little more threat on the counter, which we’ve only really done twice - when Mehmeti got in behind and when Philogene broke away in the move before the second goal. |  |

Definitely an odd game. Their tactics have kept it condensed and scrappy but we've also nullified them pretty.comfofably so far while carrying much more of a threat than them on our rare forays forward. We could have had a couple more, Hirst could have bagged a first half hattrick. Feel we need a third to put this to bed ideally. We could do with keeping the ball better too as we're inviting a lot of pressure and that will tell eventually, especially with this ref. Off the ball we've been really good, if we can sharpen up a fraction in possession this could be a very nice day indeed. |  |
