Especially O’Shea. My word. Utterly brilliant. Can see what it means to them. Only thing lacking from Town in 18 was a rendition of “we’ve got super…”.

Ill be honest, I cant ever recall a Town group of players so totally up for a derby game as this group were Saturday. They " got it" from the fans perspective, 100%, and the display of passion from them will long live with me now. It will also probably cement and strengthen the bond between the plsyers and is fans....

Keep it going lads.

I'm yet to watch it back, but it was an absolute highlight of this season. It was only when I read something on here yesterday I realised that the away fans were kept in at full time because from where I was no one was in any hurry to leave.

About once a week there's someone pop up on here to tell us that they can't warm to this team and nothing they've done will ever match two seasons ago etc etc. And yet, that's always been an odd view, certainly not one that anyone at Carrow Road on Saturday was feeling.

Some glorious Budgie meltdowns afterwards though, Gary from Brantham on the train back was liable to have a fight with himself given everyone else was ignoring him.

I don't think we were kept in, I think it was more a case of people enjoying the moment and staying voluntarily.

I watched the extended Town in 5 this morning. That felt like they celebrated that more than a derby win. They celebrated that like we got promotion. Looking at the table now I do feel very optimistic that we've done it (given the results at the weekend), but I hope they don't think that, just yet.

I couldn't really understand KM's comments about it just being about the derby not the 3 points. I get what he's saying, but in the context that was a very important 3 points to me. To dismiss the points completely felt odd, but also great at the same time. I'm not making sense. I'll go do something.

I feel the team has obviously been very process driven for the whole season, not getting too up for the highs and too down for the lows, ensuring that the average outcome is enough to get them over the line, and Saturday was just an emotional outpouring of the much derided process,

It may not been as exciting and seat of the pants as 2 seasons ago, but KMc knows it gave us the best chance of achieving the end goal and allowing that little blowing off steam felt like a reward for the hard slog up to that point and gives them the opportunity to refocus knowing there is still work to do but the prize is now within touching distance.

At least thats how I saw it!

But we haven't sung it enough this season in my view.

Maybe once at home, and probably no more than 5 times away.

This is a shame because you can see what it means to McKenna, and its not being sung indicated to me a lack of appreciation of McKenna from the fans for a large part of the season.

As the saying goes, "Oh ye of little faith."

Absolutely agree.

Needs to be belted out all the time.

I saw that too, but wondered if someone put two and two together because we stayed in the ground so long celebrating.
