I get more or less first dibs on tickets, and for some reason, I choose the last row in the lower tier every time, forgetting that I cannot see the goal. Is that the case for the majority of the stand? I can't imagine the upper tier see much of it either, or do they?

I couldn’t see the goal line from the upper tier. Had no idea if Philogene’s pen went in, it looked for all the money like the keeper had saved it until I saw Jaden celebrate. Same for the Nunez chance.

Sounds like about 2800 of us are relying on a few hundred that are front row to know if we've scored or not.
I managed to miss Furlongs opener thanks to my bladder, so I haven't actually witnessed a Town goal at The Valley since our opening goal in the 4-4 thriller. | |

Same for me in the front row of the ‘upper tier’ which had the added bonus of that bloody roof post.

I was Row L last night, a bit to the left of the goal. It's 90% a good view but the bottom of the goal is really hard to see. Not QPR bad but annoying all the same - especially when there was their goal, the penalty and Nunez's chance all in that area.
Think that's still better than further back as the pillars are dreadful. |  |
