That's the big problem last season Ivanovic was great same as the Swansea player this Yr, Szmodics and Akpom had a good yr but its been consistent yr in and old. Although though not a massive fan in this league kieffer Moore would have got enough goals to have got us over the line a championship striker who gets 15+ plus goals a season they are few and far between. | | | |

Well I once bought Vipotnik on Champ Manager (sorry never got my head around calling it FM some 20+ years later)
23 season. He fired us into the prem with 35 goals.
He then had a goal drought in the prem and I had to recall Hirst back in from the cold. Hirst then scored 20 goals in the prem season.
So if this does not conclusively prove that
- Vipotnik is a one season wonder
- Is not prem ready
- is not better than what we have (Hirst)
….then I don’t know what does (or what other evidence you could possibly need)
He can do it on a cold night at Stoke, but can he do it in a match generation engine in the 2024/25 season premier league?

He lacks pace. His movement isn’t great either, but he is improving there. I’m not convinced either; I’d be reluctant for us to gamble on him IF we go up. Piroe is a much better all round striker, for example, and he’s found the PL difficult. But I could be completely wrong. I didn’t think Gyokeres would amount to much lol |  |

It's such a risk and something to be really careful with going on one season. Ivanovic is still 21 and Vipotnik 24 it think so both good ages. But yes I would be careful with both. Vipotnik more of a scorer the Ivanovic anyway but yes he will be having that difficult second album season next year.
You have to think Pigott before rushing in and spunking the dough on a one scoring season striker.
