| today's results mean Oxford are relegated on 14:38 - Apr 25 with 636 views | J2BLUE | We really can't ask for more than a home game against QPR to seal it. And a bonus free hit midweek against a side who need to beat us. QPR won't roll over and it will be tough but it's a great position to be in. | | | |
| today's results mean Oxford are relegated on 14:41 - Apr 25 with 609 views | TripSwitch | If we are relying on Millwall to drop any more points it will mean we've failed to beat an on the beach team at home and don't deserve to go up anyway. Leicester done an absolute solid as if Millwall had won last night we'd be facing having to go to St Mary's and win as well as QPR. As it has we now have 2 bites at the cherry - unforgiveable to not do it from here. That result last night was more significant for promotion than today's draw IMO. | |

the good thing about the soton game is a draw doesn’t really help us so no need to throw as much caution to the wind. I don’t think it will work like that but less pressure on us as Southampton need the win to have any chance - should be plenty of space around the pitch

You can ask nothing more than to have it in your own hands at home on the last day of the season at worst, given the seasson it's been. Regardless of what happens at Southampton.

But equally if we are level towards the end, we may as well go for the win as it doesn't matter if we lose, as would need to beat QPR either way.

Particularly given our first 4 games of the season, and the fact we were 12 points behind a Boro team who have probably played the best football this season.

This. QPR will have the suntan cream on … flights booked. It’s the type of game you really do want when having something to play for. It’s entirely possible Southampton rest players for the play offs. The chances of them going up automatically, even if they do beat us is slim. Free hit for us maybe, but an entirely winnable game now. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Could be the opposite of today, as a draw will be of no value to Southampton & not much use to us. Today, the pace of the game fell off as I think the Baggies were obviously happy with a draw & we weren't too unhappy either.

| today's results mean Oxford are relegated on 18:06 - Apr 25 with 263 views | FoghornGleghorn | We were never going to be able to count on them anyway, but they've taken a lot of points off the leading sides and as per today haven't jacked it in, there's every chance they can frustrate a Millwall who haven't been in this position before and might be getting twitchy. Not that we ought to be depending on that, obviously. | | | |
