Saturday - where to watch 12:00 - Apr 28 with 1277 viewsBobbychase

I know quite a few people heading to Suffolk on Saturday who don't have tickets and not much hope of getting any. Apart from Isaacs, which is likely to be rammed, where are the best places to watch the game live?

Anywhere apart from screeen-free 'Spoons. You'll probably need a ticket/book at table for The Greyhound and other fairly central hostelries

I can already hear the Greyhound landlord screaming "we don't have screens".

Briarbank Brewery on Fore St is worth a look.

Went in there for televised home matches a couple of times last season.

Decent screens, decent beer, friendly staff.

Not many options these days.

Cock and Pye, Plough or Halberd if you don't fancy isaacs

But you'll need tickets?

I'd check their social media pages and if in doubt, phone.

Shamrock is another option.

Mermaid shows sport as well, albeit slightly out of town.

B&B Hotel (formerly Penta) on Ranelagh Road could also be worth a look, and only minutes from PR over the SBR bridge.

Mannings, now run by Ipswich boy and Town fan, but will be rammed I imagine.

Briarbank is shut on Saturday so staff can help out at Isaacs - https://www.instagram.com/p/DX

When we went up beating Huddersfield 2-0 all the pubs in the centre were rammed, people queuing to get in. Was a real struggle to find somewhere, would expect similar this time.
