I might be more inclined to start with McAteer on the right, then bring on Burns and Clarke at 60 mins for impact (plus Nunez for the energy). Depends somewhat on Wes' fitness, recovery and energy levels after Tuesday night.

Got to start azon over hirst. Azons gone above hirst imo when it comes to overall contribution. Finishing we know not great but hes really started bringing others into the game.

Got to start azon over hirst. Azons gone above hirst imo when it comes to overall contribution. Finishing we know not great but hes really started bringing others into the game.


I do wonder if, over the summer, we can send Azon on some sort of intensive football shooting course? Get his accuracy figures up a bit and we'd have a monster on our hands.

Mind you, several of his "misses" have been down to top-class instinctive saves by 'keepers.

Plus, of course, we'd have to hire him permanently from Como.

I would rather just us sign 2 new strikers tbh...

If Azon does stay he cant be your first or second choice if you want to be a serious Premier League team (assuming we go up). So then he just isn't going to have enough games to work on stuff he needs to.

Be gutted for Taylor (I can't call him JT. That's what Lovejoy called John Terry, which is a good enough reason to dodge it!) if he misses out. Been one of our most consistent players here this season and we generally look better when he's in the team.
We'll find out soon enough I guess.

Slightly mixed thoughts on that, centered around cost. He's had fewer injury gaps than I thought (only serious one early in the season) and more appearances, tho mostly late off the bench. But good character and knows the club.

We need to get our goal scorers on early, get stuck into QPR, with Kasey, Leif, Nunez, Sindre, Taylor and Hurst to bring on as the finishers depending where we see gaps opening up most. Now would be a great time to get creative, do something different and get a few early goals.
