Exactly, you can buy a Hackney and Azeez once you are staying in the league, these are development players not first team starters, at that level.
Unless of course the business model is to be a yo yo club then you buy these in the summer to go down and back up again. |
I’m almost certain a yo yo club is not the ambition, a top 10 stable PL side on the cusp of Europe I think is where we want to be.
At that point you can buy Azeez and Hackney and drip feed them into the monster of PL football, at this stage I don’t see them been the right fit.

It needs to be a blend of the right players without spending the whole time chasing someone like Broja to end up without signing anyone for that slot.
Yes, we need signings along the lines of Xhaka, Barkley, and Brobbey, but it is getting the right players that work that counts. We need upgrades on the strikers. If we can get better, great. But I wouldn't be putting all my hopes in some experienced Premier League strikers. |  |
