What a perfect season, really 05:00 - May 3 with 467 viewsTresBonne

A bit battered, but.

We've done the double over Norwich and got promoted.

I'm on the younger side of the forum, at 21 years old, but fcking hell. These are the days for me.

I was in the playhouse in Colchester there were a couple of Millwall supporters on a table across the way from me,just as I went to get my phone out to see the scores they said ‘Ipswich have scored already ffs’ and a few minutes later the same thing.Which they said ‘ffs that’s that then fkn Hoops’!

I'd say it's been a strange season really, but one we'll look back on with good memories. Definitely more enjoyable now we've been promoted than it felt at times during the uncertainty of the season. Hindsight is a wonderful thing!

Would agree with that frustrating at times but the double over the scum and finishing second, I certainly would have taken that back in August even though at the time I thought we'd win it. However, that double more than makes up for it.
