The whole match - including Gerry Harrison prepping and chatting to the producer right at the start - available. Few things:
Mich D’avray had a great game. Proper target man, excellent hold up play.
Decent roar when Roma score - the away goal effectively killing any hope from us being 2-0 up trying to erase the 3-0 first leg deficit. The camera briefly pans to the Roma fans when they score. Anyone there that night?
The video quality is not great; not sure if that’s because of the film used, or the floodlights being low quality. Certainly games filmed in the 70s look much better.
Eleven year old me was there. I seem to remember we were hoping Bruno Conti was going to play but he was injured. Losing on away goals was an even bigger anti-climax than a VAR disallowed goal.
Edit: now I've watched it, Conti did play so I've spent a lifetime believing I hadn't seen him play and completely neglected that Falcao was on the pitch!

It's 106 miles to Portman Road, we've got a full tank of gas, half a round of Port Salut, it's dark... and we're wearing blue tinted sunglasses.
I think this was the 3rd or 4th match I ever went to and I recall there being absolutely torrential rain and standing in that roofless corner section of churchman’s near where the away fans are now. I’m not sure how dad and I ended up there as there seems to be loads of space in the seated and covered areas
I can only presume we went at halftime or something and got let in in that area free.
