You might say why haven't posted this sort of thing before - well, I have done occasionally when there is an election (don't think I did it for for 2024 GE because that was such a crazy example of FPTP being rubbish and it was so obvious that Labour's seats per vote share was wildly skewed..)

You are the obsolete SRN4 to my Fairey Rotodyne....

Yeah it’s a backwards system that alienates people and few nations use. Those of us in the devolved regions have more sense, but get dragged into the circus at GE time. If needs to change, but I can’t see it due to greed. Which is ironic as on the rare occasions a party like Labour gets in if they did change it they would probably end up as part of a coalition government far more often than as a majority. But self interest and cynicism rules.

Not sure what is happening with the site right now for me!

For once the system isn't favouring the traditional parties. Is there any chance they might begin to look at the voting system? Only LibDems appear to have had any appetite to do so.

Labour had overwhelming support from conference to introduce PR as a manifesto pledge when they were in opposition. Not surprisingly, that all vanished once they got into power. And then they wonder why people don’t trust them and are abandoning them lol. They’re political divs.
