They could have gone for someone from a level of club that could have then gone for McKenna, thought that was clear from "carousel", never mind.

Personally think that's an error and he'll be out by Christmas. The performances haven't massively improved, more a case of being fortunate with the results coupled with Chelsea, Liverpool and, to a lesser extent, Villa stumbling post Christmas.
