Firstly a Man City without Pep, so another team in transition and a successor who will never match up to him. An Arsenal who have probably won at least one major trophy and will be mentally and emotionally drained, albeit still good. A Liverpool either with a weakened Slot or maybe a new manager, and Man Utd with a manager I rate no better than ours who will be under enormous pressure if early results go against him. Of the other top teams, Villa will still be strong, and Chelsea will no doubt improve a lot. Bournemouth , Palace, Fulham and maybe Newcastle will all have new managers and will probably go backwards, and we'll see how good Andrews really is in his second season at Brentford. Brighton will be strong, Spurs will no doubt improve, Leeds and Forest should be fine and Everton will just be Everton. Sunderland remind me of us in 2000/01 and will no doubt struggle this time. Coventry could either do a Sunderland or be as hopeless as last season's promoted three, and hopefully Hull go up instead of Southampton. So I don't see as much strength as we faced two years ago, as long of course as we perform better and I'd say the same either with Kieran in charge or even a new manager. One thing I would love to do next year is beat Man Utd at Old Trafford, having been behind at the break so becoming the first club in 42 years to achieve it, ourselves of course being the last one! We could have done it two years ago until Delap equalised just before half time and then we played poorly in the second half against ten men.

I still think there's a lot more teams in transition this time.

It's easy to look at teams with new managers and think it'll take time for them to settle, but Andrews has proved that isn't always the case, every one of those teams could elevate their performances with a new coach. We could have 3 European Champions in the league next year, that could push them to higher levels. You've mentioned every current PL team and Sunderland are the only one outside the top 4 that you've predicted will struggle, I'd say that makes the league look a whole lot tougher than 2 years ago! But it's all pretty irrelevant, there is nothing we can do to influence anybody else, our squad is slightly better than it was last time, and we've got that bit of top level experience. We just need to recruit well, play hard, and hope that we can do enough to finish 17th.

It's going to mess recruitment up too. I imagine everything will get bottled up until it's finished.
