Were Southampton's tactics noticeably different...? 19:41 - May 19 with 431 viewsBlaggers12

...when they played us in April? I think I saw it somewhere that they seemed very quick to change tactical approaches during their silly unbeaten run which caught a few teams by surprise, but would like to know if anyone noticed anything during our game?

Makes you think, remember when their keeper came up to talk to their players before the free kick they equalised from. Seemed unusual at the time, to the point that the commentators called it out.

I did feel and commented at the time that southamton didnt look as much of a threat as i thought. Same as I felt they were when they played boro in the play off first leg..

Its like they concentrated so hard to matching what they saw in training that they became better once they played theyll usual way..
