As someone who has been an election agent, I imagine there may well be inexperienced election agents who played a part in some of these examples. It's a role that does require an awful lot of knowledge of election law, and I don't suppose the Greens have the experience of Labour and the Tories. It is also the case that people don't necessarily know what the role entails, and didn't expect to win. Reform councillors who have quit may well fall into this category too but are maybe less likely to fall foul of, say, the teacher prohibition.
