Are the seats being removed or are they staying?

Reason I ask is the article on here mentioned increasing capacity so how is that possible if the seats remain?

Cheers

Removing the existing disabled sections and making a smaller centralised ones.

Also, although introducing safe standing doesn't increase capacity as such, they've managed to squeeze in another couple of seats in each row of SBR lower. Hence why some people have been 'split up' from the person who sits next to them.

Has anyone attempted to approximate the added capacity -

This doesnt look right but might be close unless someone can correct the logic -

5 blocks x 26 x 2 = 260

Initially, I thought we cant be doing all that work to squeeze in 260 seats? But even that few additional seats could payback quite quickly. Matter of a season or so depending on how costly the work is.

260 x ~£28 per ticket x 20 games including cups = £145k seat revenue

Would the extra standing room, allow Blue Action to move back and all be together?

Does this mean a reduction or increase in the number of disabled seating in the ground as a whole.
Would be bad if a reduction.

No, probably more. There are new higher density wheelchair blocks going in.

I think it will be about the same.

DA block has shifted to SBR end of the West Stand and D3/D4 has just been moved along a bit, presumably so the views from these disabled areas aren't obstructed by the safe standing seats.

You have to have seats with safe standing - a rail in front of the seats
