Lovely footballer though. Will go to a team where he can play his 8 and probably rip it up, has great quality on the ball.
A staggeringly poor outcome for our coaching staff and talent ID though - we had him in the building a year and couldn’t work out his weaknesses and whether that would be ok in the championship, in a side that never plays an 8 and has a double pivot.
Not great from all concerned.

Agree. In fact, it may be that very thing that costs Cajuste a permanent deal here, the very fact we've committed already to an underwhelming loan player.
Akpom's signing feels like when you sign up to a free trial and forget to cancel before the month is up. |  |
