Me personally I am not sure how Gary O’Neil qualifies for the position. Pundits are saying he is the ideal choice. 30% win record in the premier league with two clubs in a very short space of time. A lot less games as a manager than MCKenna. One of those clubs he steered an established Bournemouth away from relegation as basically a caretaker manager, and then took over as Wolves Manager. He is a good coach like McKenna, but also like McKenna is an inexperienced young Manager. Why would we not want to try poaching the next Glasner, and think a little out of the box. I would chose Thomas Frank, Graham Potter above him. We need someone this season to keep us up and I can’t see him lasting a season.

If Gary O’Neil is installed all the hard work over the past 5 years reconnecting the club with the fan base will be undone in an instance.

A huge backward step that nobody will get behind.

I'm minded to agree with everything there. If Wolves hadn't sacked him when they did, then it's very likely they would have been relegated 12 months earlier.

Not sure it matters who comes in, they will be on a hiding to nothing unless they start winning games from the start, which considering we are in the PL is unlikely.

Defeats will mean fans start to get on their back as they aren’t McKenna.

Far from my first choice but he did good work at Bournemouth. Wolves a bit of a basket case, who were lucky that we were so bad to get another 12 months in the league.

No manager will get the grace McKenna did but that might be to our advantage in the season ahead, the club will need to protect the league position as opposed to league and a valuable asset like McKenna.
