It's the nature of small market odds isn't it?

Once someone has some real def info the odds will change rapidly and if enough is paid on one candidate they will suspend taking bets on that one. Until then the bookies win from anyone prepared to gamble on being correct. The only way they lose is if they take too much on one candidate who is then appointed without taking enough on the other candidates. That's also partly why the odds start fairly long to encourage enough speculative betting to cover the cost of paying out.
