I’d be really happy with this. Strong appointment who has European experience and a very healthy win percentage.

Plays an attacking 433 usually and flips it to 451 when required. Defensively an aggressive press.

My concern is that I am surprised nobody has approached him before. Lots of lower PL and Higher Championship clubs have been appointing managers over the last few years, yet none have gone for him. (unless he turned them down of course) Going by what I have read about him, he seems a very good manager and I would be very if he were to come here.

A quick Google suggests he previously turned down Aberdeen, failed to agree terms with Ajax and ruled himself out of the Celtic job. So there's definitely approaches for him before. He's believed to be waiting for the right project and apparently holds a fair bit of clout in transfer dealing at Bodo Glimt
