South Suffolk 20:43 - Jun 28 with 817 views

I live in the north of Essex, but what would be classed as the south of Suffolk? Would it be just the Babergh area? Would Clare and Cavendish be considered south Suffolk or would they only be classed as West Suffolk?

I hope to get to the bottom of this important matter.

Yep, it is fair enough to say that South Suffolk is just Babergh. The South Suffolk constituency is now exactly the same as Babergh, though until a couple of years ago it included Cavendish, Clare and Haverhill but they were transferred over to West Suffolk parliamentary constituency, so by all reasonable measures South Suffolk is Babergh and Babergh is South Suffolk.
