Based on the highlights, he was certainly the main man. A couple of times he did nothing wrong and was only denied by good defending/keeping (his header and Pickford’s save low to his left was probably the best of the bunch). He was also wasteful. I thought we were lucky he’s slightly off the pace these days (but only based on the highlights). A sharper Kane in his position would have easily bagged a hatrick.
From what I saw we also put in a much more complete performance across the team last night. Norway will now be a different challenge again. They were very cagey last night. Happy to sit in and in no rush to move the ball quickly. Keeping Haaland quiet is the only challenge (edit - although they do have a couple of wingers who carry the ball very well, especially the one who looks like a mascot but plays for Benfica).
